Jazz Music Curriculum for the Pianist
Our piano jazz lessons are also in strong demand for the unique and creative methology. We have offered sessions ranging from improvisation coaching for professional lounge performers to preparing for jazz piano exams with literally thousands of student entries; from offering 1 to 1, intensive piano workshop sessions at all levels to lectures in advance jazz playing technique.
We use the syllabus of jazz music book by Christopher Norton’s Micromusicals series (published by Boosey & Hawkes), which has been shortlisted for the Best Print Resource Award at the 2015 Music Teacher Awards for Excellence.
Students who sign up for jazz piano lessons will work with our jazz piano teacher individually and also Group Class for 60 – 90 minutes. We also conduct music workshops and masterclasses using contemporary popular styles to help students to further improve their skills and at the same time, students will get a chance to gain on stage experiences.
