Topics of our Internet Based ABRSM Theory Lessons
We cover the following topics
Melody Writing
The bane of many students, music composition for the ABRSM is the Achilles’ heel of many music theory exams. In our melody writing online lessons, teacher Jenny covers melody composition using the following rules
Chord progression
Jenny uses harmonization of three chord progressions for melody writing. Three chord progressions are are presented as successions of four chords. Excluding the first and last chords, two of the four chords are the same.
Music Intervals
A proper music interval between all notes is required for a good musical direction
